The following are the associate companies of JA Group :

1. Nabil Bank Limited.                                               

 

Nabil Bank Limited is the first private ‘A’ Class commercial bank in Nepal licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. Class A licensed Nabil Bank has acquired Nepal Bangladesh Bank with the permission of the central bank. With the completion of the acquisition process, Nabil bank has received all the capital and financial responsibilities of Nepal Bangladesh Bank. The two banks have reached an understanding to take the lead in nation-building by expanding and strengthening the esteemed institutions that have been playing a leading role in Nepal’s financial sector.  The founder Chairman of Nepal Bangladesh Bank is Mr. Jit Bahadur Shrestha.

 

2. Kumari Bank Limited.      

                       

 

 

Kumari Bank Limited, came into existence as the fifteenth commercial banks of Nepal, starting its banking operations from Chaitra 21, 2057 B.S (April 03, 2001). Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Ltd. (NCC Bank) formally registered as Nepal – Bank of Ceylon Ltd. (NBOC), commenced its operation on October 14, 1996 as a Joint Venture with Bank of Ceylon, Sri Lanka. It was then the first private sector Bank with the largest authorized capital of NRS. 10,300 million. The name of the Bank was changed to Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Ltd., (NCC Bank) on 10th September, 2002, due to transfer of shares and management of the Bank from Bank of Ceylon, to Nepalese Promoters. Kumari Bank and Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCC) merged with each other and started integrated business from 1st of January 2023. After the merger of Kumari and NCC, the consolidated business started under the name of Kumari Bank Limited. 

 

3.  National Hydropower Company Ltd.

National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) was established with the objective of developing small hydropower projects in Nepal. Initially NHPC was set up as a joint venture Company formed by Nepali owner Mr. Jit Bahadur Shrestha and Lyse Kraft AS of Norway to develop its firs hydro project, the 7,500 kW Indrawati-III, in Sindhupalchowk District, in Central Nepal. NHPC has been commercially operating the Indrawati III Hydro Power Project since 1999. The national utility of Nepal, Nepal Electricity Authority, is the off taker of the energy produced by this Project.

 

5. Commercial International Trading Pvt. Ltd.

CIT has been involved in importing of Yamaha Beaver Machine from Japan, Broadcast items from Mobile Viewpoint- Netherlands, Vending Machines from Seaga-India.

 

6. Doctor Sancho Clinic Pvt. Ltd.

Doctor Sancho is a full fledged Medical clinic providing X-RAY, USG, ECG, Dental, OPD, Physio, Pharmacy, LAB test etc for all kinds of OPD services with the team of 20 Medical doctors and nurses.

 

7. Himalayan Bodhi Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd.

Himalayan Bodhi Solar aims to develop and supply solar energy systems to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. They focus on researching and developing advanced solar technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, they seek to increase the adoption of solar energy by expanding into new markets and reaching more customers.

 

8. Himalayan Bodhi International Trade Pvt. Ltd.

Himalayan Bodhi International aims to expand its market reach by sourcing high-quality diapers from international manufacturers and exporting locally produced ones to global markets.
